Purchase of Drones for Agricultural Purpose

Purpose:

Drones equipped for agricultural purposes such as spraying pesticides, fertilizers, anti-locust treatments, and mapping farmland are eligible for financing under the “Farm Machinery Financing”

• Eligibility Criteria for Individuals: In case of individual- Applicants must hold a Remote Pilot License issued by an institute recognized by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) or any authorized remote pilot training organization.
• Custom Hiring (Non-own farm usage): Financing for drones used in custom hiring services is eligible under the MUDRA scheme, for loan limits up to Rs.10.00 lakh, with coverage under Credit Guarantee Fund for Micro Units (CGFMU).
