Notice for e-Allahabad Bank customers regarding IFSC Codes and UPI

Notice for e-Allahabad Bank customers regarding IFSC Codes and UPI

Accounts of all customers maintained with erstwhile Allahabad Bank were migrated to Indian Bank as part of amalgamation of e-Allahabad Bank into Indian Bank w.e.f 12.02.2021.

  • IFSC starting with “ALLA” were being used for both NEFT, RTGS and IMPS from Internet Banking, mobile banking and other all channels till now.

This is to inform that all e-Allahabad IFSC starting with “ALLA” have been changed.

All the IFSC starting with “ALLA” will be disabled w.e.f 01.07.2021.

We request you to inform the remitters (senders / payers) to use only your new IFSC starting with “IDIB” while sending NEFT/RTGS/IMPS.

Click Here to enter your old IFSC / Branch Name and get the new IFSC.

  • UPI IDs of accounts of e-Allahabad Bank linked to Third Party Processing Apps like Google Pay, Phone Pe, PayTM etc. might experience disruptions due to change in IFSC.

You will be required to link your account again to your VPA by choosing ‘Indian Bank’ instead of ‘Allahabad Bank’ and reset the PIN for uninterrupted usage of your VPAs in Third Party Processing Apps.

Your VPA ending with ‘[at]allbank’ will continue to exist. However, it is suggested to create your VPA ending with ‘[at]indianbank’ for smooth functioning, as per process flow given below.

Click here to know how to create your UPI ID / VPA ending with ‘[at]indianbank’.
